Bitcoin 101

This course explains Bitcoin from the ground up. Not hype. Not price talk. Just understanding. It starts with money itself: what it’s meant to do, why trust-based systems fail, and why inflation and central control create fragility. You learn what Bitcoin actually is: open-source software, a global network, and a set of rules. No company. No CEO. No owner. The course covers how Bitcoin works, how scarcity and security are enforced, how wallets and custody really function, and where users commonly make mistakes. It explains payments and scaling, clearly separates Bitcoin from “crypto,” addresses regulation and real risks, and answers common criticisms calmly. It ends with the long view: what Bitcoin may become, what it won’t, and why humility matters. Bitcoin offers tools, not guarantees. What you do with them matters.
